We discussed "The Flood" last night at youth group. If you take the text literally, the account is staggering! A boat 450 feet long, one and half football fields...water rising over the highest mountains, Everest at 29,000, and all the animals 2 by 2 contained on one ship. How did they convince a lion or tiger to move in a docile manner to one of the cages? Mind boggling. How awesome is our God that nothing is too difficult for Him. He chooses to display his majest and glory in such odd ways sometime, but may we remember the rainbow and God's covenant with us, the objects of his promises, all of them.
